Charlton Athletic are the new leaders of the Southern Division following a 4-0 victory away to Gillingham on Sunday.
With their main rivals having their matches postponed, including the top of the table clash between Brighton & Hove Albion and Cardiff City Ladies, the free scoring Addicks went into the game at the Priestfield Stadium requiring a win to take over the leadership and led at half time through a brace from Kit Graham. Midway through the second half, Graham completed her hat-trick and Dominique Harris rounded off the scoring with the fourth goal.
Tottenham Hotspur stay in fifth but are just three points off the top after winning 3-1 at Queen's Park Rangers. All of Spurs' goals came inside the opening 26 minutes, Avilla Bergin giving them an early lead which was doubled by Kate O'Leary, who scored against her former club. In-form striker Bergin then scored her second but Rangers improved greatly in the second half and grabbed a late consolation through Lauren Gage.
