Holders Bradford City are through to the quarter finals of the Reserve Section League Cup after winning 4-0 away to Newcastle Utd. Abigail Barker, Sarah Dobby, Chloe Pennisi and Zoe Roberts all scored a goal apiece to take Bradford into the last eight. Rachel Taylor netted twice along with Chloe Dixon, Nikki Hogg and Millie Kenyon as Sheffield FC won 5-2 against Leicester City Women. Southern Division leaders West Ham Utd also advanced albeit on a penalty shootout after their clash with Brighton & Hove Albion ended in a 2-2 draw, Sarah McCrea and Vicky Kinsman scoring for the Hammers. Gillingham sprang a surprise when Chloe Cavanagh and Ashleigh Loosemore gave them a 2-1 success at Charlton Athletic whilst a goal each from Chloe Bassett, Adrianna Lipowska, Ellis Lunn, Faye Picton and Rene Williams saw Tottenham Hotspur to a 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
Nottingham Forest have opened up a lead of five points at the top of the Midland Division with a 3-1 victory over second placed Wolverhampton Wanderers, Elizabeth Ejupi, Sarah Voce and Jessica Thompson were all on target. Cardiff City Ladies meanwhile notched up a 9-2 win away to FC Reedswood in which Kierra Deeks and Hannah Mills each netted braces with Jazmin Faiers, Sophie Gidley, Charlotte Preen, Heather Strating and Leah Williams adding the others.
In the Southern Division, Chichester City picked up their first victory of the season, 3-2 in their local derby with Lewes. Amy Bailey, Gemma Halford and Kerri Grant were all on target for Chichester.
