Newcastle Utd lifted themselves away from the bottom two in the Northern Division with a 3-0 victory away to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Newcastle are now four points ahead of the relegation positions, still currenly occupied by Nottingham Forest after their clash with Derby County finished level at 2-2. Derby, playing under the interim management of Ash Abbey and Jack White following the departure of Jenny Sugarman last week, took a first half lead through Louisa Abbey with Forest hitting back to equalise after the break, Isabel Sullivan scoring. Forest looked to have taken the points late on when Audrey Moore put them in front but Derby rallied to earn themselves a crucial points, thanks to an injury time leveller from Sam Griffiths.
Preston North End meanwhile stormed to a 6-2 success at Huddersfield Town. Sarah Cadwick netted twice to put Preston ahead but Town recovered and were back on level terms by half time with strikes from Katie Lockwood and Emily Heckler.
