Vital victory for Stockport
 Women's Football News 7 Jan 2015

Northern Division One
Stockport County lifted themselves out of the bottom two and three places up the table by winning 3-0 away to Morecambe. Grace Campbell opened the scoring for County shortly before half time but it wasn't until late on that they secured themselves three valuable points, thanks to further goals from Jeneyah Webb and Beth Langford.
Midlands Division One
Radcliffe Olympic gave their title challenge a huge boost with a 3-1 victory at Leicester City Ladies. Alex Saulter put them ahead with four minutes on the clock and Danni Saulter added a second for Radcliffe shortly before the break. Leicester gave themselves hope when Keeleigh Hutchings reduced the arrears with nine minutes remaining but Beth Bailey steadied any Radcliffe nerves three minutes later with the final goal. The win moves Olympic into third place, seven points behind leaders Loughborough Foxes but with two games in hand.
South East Division One
In the only game to survive the weather, Enfield Town and Crystal Palace battled out a 2-2 draw which means that Palace stay third, two places above their opponents. Regan Coleman netted both goals for Enfield, while Palace replied with a brace from Roschelle Shakes.
South West Division One
The resignation of Gosport Borough - the third from this division this season - has meant a recalculation of the table and the team which has benefitted most pressed home their advantage even further on Sunday.

Swindon Town are now twelve points clear at the top following their 3-1 victory over fourth placed Southampton Saints. The Town started the stronger but had to wait until the 39th minute before Sarah Uzzell scored with a low drive. Saints enjoyed a good period in the second half but fell further behind when Lisa Coe found Beth Thompson wide on the Town's right and her cross was knocked in by Alice Smith from close range. In the 75th minute, Sally Buttterfield came on as a substitute and immediately picked the ball up on the halfway line before running half the length of the field to lob the ball over the advancing keeper. Saints netted a consolation in the 86th minute when Roxanne Lee-Stewart hooked the ball in following a goalmouth scramble.
