Foxes open up lead
 Women's Football News 13 Jan 2015
Northern Division One
Norton & Stockton Ancients picked up an important victory which takes out of the bottom four placed in the table. Jessica Dawson was on target twice along with Lucy Charlton and Charlotte Portas as Norton ran out 4-1 winners over Stockport County.
Midlands Division One
Loughborough Foxes have gone six points clear at the top of the table after they defeated Steel City Wanderers 6-1. Melissa Reid gave them a tenth minute lead which was doubled by Vicky Brackenbury and although Paris Wagstaff pulled one back for the Steels, Shauna Chambers restored the two-goal advantage by half time. Ann Marie Reddish made it four on the hour, before Brackenbury netted her second and Kirsty Matthews completed the scoring.
Rotherham Utd had an opportunity to move into second place but they went down to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Loughborough Students. Nicola Russell scored the only goal of the game for the university side to earn them a result which takes them further away from the bottom places.
Mansfield Town inched out of the bottom two following their 1-1 draw against Leicester City Ladies. Both of the goals came in the last sixteen minutes of the game, Laura Watton having given Mansfield the lead before Tori-Dee Allen grabbed an equaliser for mid-table Leicester.
South East Division One
Milton Keynes Dons have gone top of the table for the first time when a solitary strike from Heather McDonnell gave them a 1-0 victory over Enfield Town in the only match to be played.
South West Division One
Southampton Saints have moved up to second place in the table with a 2-1 win against Larkhall Athletic. Catherine Browning sent the Saints into an early lead but the Larks hit back just after half time with an equaliser from Natalie Haigh. Roxanne Lee-Stewart decided matters in the late stages of the game to lift her side into their highest position of the season so far, albeit ten points off the pace.
Chichester City meanwhile leapfrogged Shanklin in the table after beating them 2-1. Both of City's goals came in the opening twenty minutes, Kally Ambler putting them in front and Naomi Greene adding the second. Rowan Treagus reduced the arrears for the Isle of Wight side but Chichester held on for three important points.
