Bristol Academy have been given a boost with the news that four of their first team squad have signed new contracts for the club.
Loren Dykes, Mary Earps, Jaz Matthews and Frankie Brown, all significant players for the Vixens last year, have agreed to spend another season playing for BAWFC.
Loren Dykes (pictured), recently returning from Welsh international camp, is ready to take on the WSL in 2015. This will be Loren's sixth season at the club, after joining Bristol Academy in 2008 from Cardiff City Ladies. The 26-year-old was a regular in manager Dave Edmondson's 2014 side, and featured in almost every match last season either as a full back or a winger.
At 21, Earps will be going into her fifth season of FA WSL football and her second season at Bristol Academy. After joining the club in March 2014, she went on to play every game for the Vixens last season.
Cornish-born Jaz Matthews has been at BAWFC since joining the Female Football Academy at SGS College at the age of 16 and playing for the first team since 2010 and is ready to go into her fifth season in the WSL.
Scottish international Frankie Brown signs a new contract to play for the Vixens for a second year in the WSL. Frankie who has 66 caps for her country joined the club in 2014 from Hibernian.
The signings of four key players will be welcome news to the Vixens following the departure of seven members of the first team squad since the end of last season.
