Nottingham Forest took advantage of their rivals' inactivity to open up a lead of seven points at the top of the Midland Division, thanks to a 3-1 victory away to Leicester City Women. Grace Walters, Ciara Albas-Martin and Georgia Gladwin were all on target for Forest, with the home side replying through Robyn Washington. Coventry City meanwhile climbed up to third place as they scored six times without reply past Wolverhampton Wanderers. Alison Livermore and Sami Ryder each bagged a brace along with one apiece from Alison Forbes and Kelly Worthington.
There was a change of leadership in the Southern Division with Brighton & Hove Albion taking over top spot following their 5-1 win against Portsmouth. Holly Talbut-Smith netted twice and she was joined on the scoresheet by Paige Baker-Carroll, Orla Dimond and Ellie Lock with Emma-Jane May replying for Pompey. Charlton Athletic made sure of keeping up their challenge in third by also winning 5-1 over C & K Basildon. Francesca Tye bagged a brace and there was one apiece from Sophie Blowers, Kylie Manktelow and Gemma Shepherd while Basildon's consolation came from Ashley Debnam.
