Swansea City booked their place in the Welsh Premier Women's League Cup Final with a 2-0 victory over Cup holders Cardiff Met Ladies.
Cardiff Met had gone into the game sporting an unbeaten record in all competitions this season but found themselves behind after 36 minutes when Emma Beynon gave Swansea the lead. Beynon went on to score a second goal, five minutes from time, to seal victory for the Swans.
Swansea City will face PILCS in the Final at the end of March, at a venue which is to be confirmed.
One match was played in the league, Wrexham running out 5-1 winners over Rhyl & Prestatyn to lift themselves into fifth place in the table. Alex Waldron gave them a seventh minute lead which was doubled by Laura Mitchell, before Waldron scored her second just before the half hour. After the break, Becky Pritchard and Bethan Davies both found the net to wrap up the win for Wrexham, with the visitors grabbing a late consolaton goal through Joy Jamieson.
