Notts County are delighted to announce the signing of Danielle Buet.
The midfielder joins the Lady Pies after leaving last season's runners-up Chelsea Ladies.
Danielle started her senior career at Arsenal Ladies leaving the Gunners to join Chelsea in 2007. In her seven years at the London club, the 26-year-old has played a prominent part in the blues' midfield, including their best ever season last time out where they narrowly missed out on the FA WSL title by goal difference.
Buet has also been recognised at international level as part of the England team who reached the quarter finals at the 2008 Under-20 World Cup. Dani went on to make five appearances for the England Under-23 team before making her England senior debut at the Cyprus Cup in 2009, before being included in Hope Powell's squad for the European Championships in 2009. The midfielder has made eight appearances for the national team, last appearing in late 2011.
On joining, Dani said she is looking forward to the season ahead: "It is an exciting time, it's a new challenge for me and it could be a very exciting year ahead with the team that we have here at Notts.
"I'm an ambitious player, I want to win silverware and I want to do it here at Notts County. I'm a good team player both on and off the pitch and I hope my experience can help the younger players in this team.
"As I said, I'm here to win things. The players that have been brought in are all great additions to the squad and there's no reason why we can't get to a cup final and win a trophy. We want to be in the Champion's League and that is our ambition if not to go on and to win the league."
Manager Rick Passmoor has welcomed Buet's experience and ambition. "In such a short season, having new players that have knowledge of the league and the game in this country is a real boost to anyone," he said. "Dani brings a lot of knowledge and experience of the game with her and it can't be underestimated how important that is. We're all on the same page here at Notts County, we share the same ambitions and Dani is reading off the same page as us."
