Chapman and Asante receive England recall
 Women's Football News 4 Feb 2015

Head coach Mark Sampson has recalled Katie Chapman and Anita Asante to the England squad for the upcoming match against USA.

The Three Lions will entertain Jill Ellis's two-time World Cup winners at stadium:mk on Friday 13th February.

Chelsea midfielder Chapman, who has earned 82 caps, last played for England in September 2010, in a World Cup play-off in Switzerland. Asante has represented England 70 times, the last occasion coming against France in last year's Cyprus Cup. Meanwhile, Manchester City duo Toni Duggan and Lucy Bronze have been left out of the squad due to injury.

Sampson said: "USA provide us with another opportunity to test ourselves against a top-tier nation which, moving towards the World Cup, is exactly the type of challenge we need.

"With Kelly Smith's retirement and some regular players injured it also gives us the opportunity to look at some new possibilities."

The match against USA is part of England's preparation for this summer's FIFA Women's World Cup, which will take place in Canada. England have been drawn in Group F alongside France, Mexico and Colombia.

Tickets for the USA match are priced £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. A family ticket (two adults and two children) is available at £10 and group booking discounts apply. Tickets are available via www.mkdons.com/tickets.
