Teams can sometimes be known as 'cup specialists' but University of Kent have taken this to extremes in the South East Counties League this season.
In the Kent County Division, the university side are at the foot of the table having lost all eleven league matches this season but their form has been a complete contrast in the Kent Divisional League Cup.
Having beaten Anchorians 3rds in the previous rounds, University of Kent then proceeded to beat Barming - who are second in the table - 3-2 in the semi finals on Sunday.
Bethany Nobes scored twice and Jasmine Fox netted the other goal to take the students through to the Final where they will meet Long Lane Res, who won 7-1 against London Corinthians Res in the other semi final. Shiannetae Palmer scored a hat-trick for Long Lane and the other goals came from Madeleine Bone (2), Jessica Oldfield and Lehannah Shogbamimu.
The Final will take place on 27th April at the University of Kent (7.30pm).
