Bristol Academy are delighted to announce the signing of senior Scotland international, Christie Murray.
The 24-year-old former Celtic and Glasgow City midfielder has 29 caps for Scotland and joins the Vixens after a year at Arsenal, where she made her debut in the FA WSL.
On signing for the Vixens, Murray said: "I'm really excited to have signed for Bristol Academy. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play in both the FA WSL and Champions League this season. I can't wait to get started."
Murray is Head Coach Dave Edmonson's fifth new signing ahead of the 2015 season, he said: "Christie is a great signing, very much in the mould of what we are trying to develop at the club. She is very determined and ambitious and wants to improve herself as a player. Christie is technically excellent and has a real bite and aggression to her play which will add to our already strong midfield.
"After spending a week with us, Christie chose BAWFC over a number of other offers as she saw the way we train and the way we look to develop players which shows that she is serious about becoming the best footballer she possibly can. I am excited about the contribution Christie can make to the team alongside our other new signings and the returning group of players."
