Birmingham City Ladies are delighted to announce the signing of striker Freda Ayisi.
The 20-year-old starlet joins the club from Arsenal, having made the transition from their Centre of Excellence.
In 2013, Ayisi made her debut in The FA WSL and scored her first goal in the club's Champions League campaign in their 7-1 win over Russian side CSHVSM Kairat.
Commenting on Ayisi's arrival, Blues Ladies boss David Parker said: "We're delighted to bring Freda to the football club and add another exciting signing to the group for this season.
"Freda brings quality to Birmingham, being a young and hungry English player with an enormous amount of potential. She will bring a different dimension to the group this year and add further pace, power and work ethic to an already young and talented front line.
"Her performances last season more than indicated she is now ready to push on and be a thorn for any opposition in this league with the qualities she brings, and we can't wait to start working with her to help fulfil that potential."
