Blackburn Rovers kept themselves in the Northern Division title race as they came from behind to win 4-1 against Bradford City.
It was Bradford who took the lead during the first half through a Chantelle O'Hara penalty but Rovers were soon back on level terms, also from the penalty spot through Lynda Shepherd, and Sophie Flynn headed them in front ahead of the interval. Amie Fleming extended their lead after the break from a corner and a thunderous free kick by Jess Holbrook completed the scoring. Blackburn therefore climb above Bradford into third place but are twelve points behind leaders Coventry City, albeit with three games in hand.
Nottingham Forest are out of the bottom two following their 2-1 victory over Newcastle Utd. Forest also needed to come from behind, Newcastle going in front through a powerful strike from Dannika Purdham but Charlotte Griffin equalised just before the hour mark and Annabel McKechnie scored from a Katie Lowder free kick to give her side a crucial win.
