Feds and Vixens keep up close battle
 Women's Football News 17 Feb 2015
Northern Division One
Liverpool Marshalls Feds kept hold of the leadership of the table after they won their local derby match 2-1 against Tranmere Rovers. Faye McCoy and an own goal ensured that the Feds stayed one point clear whilst Keira Onanga grabbed a late consolation for Tranmere.
Guiseley AFC Vixens stay hard on their heels in second place after winning 3-2 away to Morecambe. Louise Hunt, Becky Kendell and Kerrie Zserdicky were all on target as the Yorkshire side recorded their sixth league win in a row.
Chorley are back in the top three following their 3-1 success away to Sheffield Utd Community. The home side did take a first half lead through Christina Skull but after the break, Ruth Harrison netted twice and Sam Cadwallader the other to keep their team's promotion hopes alive.
Midlands Division One
Leafield Athletic made a return to the top three after they defeated Solihull Ladies 3-2. Gabriella Reid was Leafield's hero as she scored a hat-trick while Carly Brown and Hayley Wilford replied for their midland rivals.
South East Division One
Denham Utd leapt up the table into fourth place on the back of a 5-0 win away to Norwich City, who remain at the foot of the table.
South West Division One
Exeter City stepped up their title challenge with a 3-1 victory over Larkhall Athletic, which leaves them three points behind the top two and with a game in hand. Tash Knapman gave Exeter a first half lead which was cancelled out by Carly Bryant, before Kirsty Caunter put them back in front on the hour and Chloe Williams sealed three important points with seven minutes remaining.
