The weather wreaked havoc across Wales over the weekend and as a result, only one Welsh Premier Women's League game managed to be played on Sunday. That match took place at Wrexham where the home side added to the worries of bottom of the table Aberystwyth Town and cemented themselves in fifth place by running out 9-0 winners. Laura Mitchell opened the scoring for Wrexham in the sixth minute with Bethan Davies and Kate Edwards adding goals in quick succession around the half hour mark, before Amber Bailey and Becky Pritchard joined them on the scoresheet ahead of half time. Edwards scored her second in the opening minute of the second half, Mitchell and Pritchard went on to complete doubles and Edwards rounded off the scoring with her hat-trick goal, ten minutes from time.
