Everton sign Claudia Walker
 Women's Football News 23 Feb 2015
Everton have completed the signing of Claudia Walker from neighbours Liverpool.
The 18-year-old, whose previous clubs also include Stoke City, was a regular in the Reds' title-winning team of 2014, but now has a solely Blue focus ahead of the upcoming campaign, and feels the chance to link up with Toffees' boss Andy Spence can only aid her progression as a player.
"I am really looking forward to working with him (Spence)," said the England Under-19 international. "He is a great manager and can only help my progress and development as a player.
"Joining Everton Ladies is a fantastic chance for me; there will be more opportunities in this league to get even more game time."
Settling into the other side of the Park has been another breeze for the attacking midfielder, not least due to the friendly atmosphere and another chance to link up with an old international colleague.
"I have only been here a very short time and I already feel at home," continued Walker. "The girls are really friendly and I can't wait to get the season started.
"I have played with Paige (Williams) at international level and it will now be great to link up with her at a club set up. She is a fantastic player and is again someone who can help me develop as a player.
"I can't wait to get the season started!"
