BCLFC legend Karen Carney is being inducted into Birmingham City Football Club's Hall of Fame ahead of the Huddersfield Town home game on Saturday 14th March, proudly sponsored by long-term principle partner Hollywood Monster.
Karen will become the first woman to receive the accolade from the club and you can be there to recognise the milestone.
In an afternoon of hospitality, as Blues take on the Terriers in the Sky Bet Championship, Karen will be presented with a commemorative award in the International Suite prior to the game, before regaling supporters with tales of her glittering career to date.
She will then lead her beloved Blues out before kick off and be introduced to the St Andrew's faithful on the pitch at half time.
The Solihull-born winger and lifelong Blues fan made her 100th appearance for the England national team last season, and became only the fourth woman in history to clock up that achievement. Domestically, she has been a great servant to the Blues Ladies team during two stints between 2001 and 2015.
Other members of the ladies team will be in attendance to help promote the start of the new FA Women's Super League season which gets underway on Sunday 29th March.
A tasty meal of traditional English fayre will be served in the International Suite with an interview with the man-of-the-match after the game as the men's and ladies teams come together to celebrate the achievements of a Birmingham City legend.
