With the Euro qualifers just a month away, England Under-19s stepped up their preparations with a 3-1 win over Italy.
Mo Marley's side are in Spain competing in the annual La Manga Tournament - and Manchester City forward Natasha Flint got the Young Lions off to the perfect start, breaking the deadlock against the Italians in the fifth minute.
Arsenal striker Carla Humphrey doubled the advantage before half-time and her Gunners club mate Leah Williamson added a third early in the second half. Italy notched a consolation goal in added time.
England's second group match is against Sweden on Saturday, followed by one final game, against Denmark on Monday.
Marley's charges will take on Northern Ireland, Norway and Switzerland in April and all three will be vying for a place in the Euro finals, which will be staged in Israel in July.
