City face two-goal deficit
 Women's Football News 23 Mar 2015

Glasgow City 0 Paris St Germain 2 (Lahmari 19, Hamraoui 53)
Paris St Germain will take a two-goal lead into the return meeting next Saturday after two well taken goals put them in the driving seat for a place in the semi finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The French side were quickly into their stride with Anissa Lahmari firing over from distance and Rhonda Jones making a good block from a shot by Kosovare Asllani.

PSG were having the better of possession but City were comfortable in defence until the 19th minute, when Paris took the lead through a firm strike by Lahmari.

Lee Alexander made a good save to prevent Asllani from adding a quick second but City responded well and produced their first effort on goal, Fiona Brown bringing out a save from Katarzyna Kiedrzynek.

Paris took their one-goal lead into the break but there was a huge blow for City eight minutes after the restart, Kheira Hamraoui giving Alexandra no chance with a great strike from the edge of the area.

Glasgow City boss Eddie Wolecki Black made a triple substitution to try and change his side's fortunes but Paris closed the game out successfully and will be firm favourites when the teams meet again in the second leg.
