PILCS open up title race
 Women's Football News 23 Mar 2015
PILCS blew the Welsh Premier Women's League title race open with a 3-0 victory over previously unbeaten leaders Cardiff Met Ladies.
Lauren Price opened the scoring in the tenth minute and Lyndsey Davies doubled their lead five minutes before half time. Amy Thrupp completed the victory midway through the second half with the third goal for PILCS who now trail Cardiff Met by five points and have a game in hand, the result was also a good one for Swansea City.
In the other game, Cwmbran Celtic came away from Newcastle Emlyn with a 3-2 victory under their belts. Fiona Anthony gave Cwmbran a fourteenth minute lead but Newcastle Emlyn hit back and were in front at the break thanks to Caroline Cooper and Kelly Thomas. Laura Bradley levelled the scores straight after the restart and Alana Murphy grabbed the winner for Cwmbran with sixteen minutes left on the clock.
