Swansea City still have a chance of a possible trophy 'treble' after reaching the FAW Women's Cup Final with a 5-0 win over Cyncoed Ladies.
The Swans, whose title chances received a boost on Sunday after PILCS beat Cardiff Met Ladies, are already in Friday night's League Cup Final and reached their second major Cup Final of the season by beating the last remaining club from outside the WPWL. Emma Beynon hit a hat-trick for the Swans and she was joined on the scoresheet by Katy Hosford and Chloe Lloyd.
In the Final, they will meet Cardiff City FC who were 4-1 winners over Wrexham after extra time in the other semi final. However Wrexham were agonisingly close to going through after having led since the 39th minute with a goal from Lyndsey Rodger, but Lisa Bird equalised with one minute left to play. In the extra period, an unfortunate own goal from Julia Morris put Cardiff in front for the first time and Cardiff went on to seal the win with Bird netting her second and Shannon Evans completing the scoring.
