Bradford City drew level on points with Northern Division leaders Newcastle Utd after they won 5-4 away to Huddersfield Town. Abigail Barker led the scoring with a hat-trick and there was one apiece from Annie Nicol and Zoe Roberts. Guiseley AFC Vixens meanwhile defeated Leeds Ladies 4-0, courtesy of a Betham Smith brace, Nadine Bates and Kerrie Zserdicky.
Southern Division leaders Charlton Athletic were held to a 1-1 draw by Queen's Park Rangers, Victoria Campbell netting the Addicks' goal with Joanne Wilson replying. Brighton & Hove Albion narrowed the gap to three points as Ellie Lock (2), Lauren Callaghan and Paige Walden gave them a 4-0 success away to C & K Basildon. Crystal Palace ended a good campaign by scoring ten without reply against Bedford Ladies, led by a hat-trick from Ifeyinwa Ibe. Leanne Bell weighed in with a double and there was one apiece from Mercedes Broomfield, Shedean Dyer, Louise Johnson, Delaenam Olympio and Alexia Spokes. Elizabeth O'Callaghan, Katie James and Rebecca Bell netted the goals for Portsmouth in their 3-0 success at Tottenham Hotspur whilst Lewes continued their improvement with a second win, Shannon Perrin scoring the only goal of the game against Chichester City.
Only one match was played in the FA WSL Development League on Sunday, in the Southern Division where London Bees and Yeovil Town battled out a 2-2 draw. Selin Buyukgiray and Paige Wakefield were on target for the Bees, whi are up to third, whilst Yeovil - who have drawn six of their nine matches so far - replied through Leah Burridge and Shannon Osman.
