Arsenal maintain good start
 Women's Football News 20 Apr 2015

Manchester City 0 Arsenal 1 (Ubogagu 36)
Arsenal stay second in the FA WSL 1 table after picking up their second win in five days and ended the unbeaten record Manchester City had taken into the game.

Chioma Ubogagu struck before the break as Arsenal completed a 1-0 win over Manchester City - who had captain Jill Scott sent off in the second half - at the Academy Stadium.

City had the better chances in the first half, Nikita Parris drawing a good save from Emma Byrne on 19 minutes, with a vicious dipping shot from distance.

Toni Duggan should have given City the lead on 33 minutes, meeting Abbie McManus' cross unmarked in front of goal, but she somehow headed wide.

Ubogagu struck just three minutes later - against the run of play - finding space on the left wing before nutmegging Lucy Bronze and finishing low beyond Alex Brooks.

City's task was made harder on 57 minutes when Scott was sent off after an altercation with Jade Bailey. Despite that, Parris came within inches of equalising on 83 minutes - clattering the post from a tight angle after cutting inside from the right wing.
