England, Scotland and Wales will have cause for optimism when looking ahead to the qualifying groups for the Euro 2017 Championships after the draw was made in Nyon today.
England have been drawn in the same group as Belgium, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Estonia and will be firm favourites to go through to the finals in Holland.
Scotland meanwhile will be eyeing their first ever major tournament Finals after they learned they must play Iceland, Belarus, Slovenia and FYR Macedonia.
Wales also will look forward to their group matches after being drawn with Norway, Austria, Israel and Kazakhstan. Northern Ireland's task will be more difficult however, they are in the same group as Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Georgia.
The group matches being in September and fixtures will be announced soon. The eight group winners will qualify for the Finals along with the six best runners-up, with the other two second placed teams having to play-off to decide the final place.
