Guiseley crowned Champions
 Women's Football News 29 Apr 2015
Northern Division One
Guiseley AFC Vixens have won the Northern Division One title after a dramatic final few days in the title race. On Thursday night, Guiseley completed their fixtures with Aimi Beresford and Michelle Walsh giving them a 2-1 victory away to Tranmere Rovers, meaning that Liverpool Marshalls Feds needed to beat Leeds Ladies in their last match in order to overhaul them. However, a late goal from Shelbey Morris earned Leeds a 1-0 win to break the Feds' hearts and confirmed their fellow Yorkshire side as Champions whilst securing themselves a top three finish.
Middlesbrough have given themselves a chance of fourth place following a 5-3 victory over Chorley. Emma Foster netted twice for 'Boro along with Leanne Anderson, Nyci Thorns and Bianca Owens while Ruth Harrison (2) and Scarlett Smith replied for Chorley.
Rae Taylor netted two of the goals and she was joined on the scoresheet by Laura Darmody and Nichole Harvey as Chester-le-Street notched up a 4-2 win away to Tranmere Rovers.
Stockport County finished off their season with a 1-0 victory over Morecambe, Chantelle Parry scoring the only goal of the game which keeps them in eighth position.
Norton & Stockton Ancients were 2-1 winners at Sheffield Utd Community in the meeting between the teams in the bottom two. Lottie Portas and Phoebe Townsend netted the goals, with Tania Marsden replying, but it may not quite be enough to prevent Norton from climbing out of the bottom two places.
Midlands Division One
Loughborough Foxes moved closer towards securing the title, despite not playing a game over the past week. Leicester City Women's chances came to an end as they were beaten 2-1 by Leafield Athletic, who are now the only team who can still catch the Foxes.
Leafield kept their hopes alive on Sunday with a 4-1 victory over Mansfield Town in which Sam White, Gabbi Reid, Leigh Dugmore and Sade Alaka all scored. Leafield need to win all of their remaining three games and hope that Loughborough Foxes slip up in order to pip them to the title.
Radcliffe Olympic remain in contention for the runners-up position after Natalie Robinson and Alex Saulter gave them a 2-1 win against Rotherham Utd.
Leicester City Ladies were also 2-1 victors away to FC Reedswood, Rebekah Preston and Kim Yates netting their goals with Kyrie Ball responding for the home side.
South East Division One
Leaders C & K Basildon did not play on Sunday and their two title rivals took the opportunity to narrow the gap on them with victories.
Sophie Watson grabbed the only goal of the game as second placed Milton Keynes Dons won 1-0 at Cambridge Women to move to within two points of the leadership, although the Dons only have one match left to play.
Crystal Palace also kept their chances alive, thanks to a 4-0 victory over Norwich City. Mary Onianwa was on target twice along with Sarah Jones, who netted from the penalty spot, and Alex Eldis.
