Cardiff Met Ladies are finally confirmed as Welsh Premier Women's League Champions following Swansea City's 3-0 victory away to Wrexham.
The Swans needed to win by a near impossible margin of 32 goals in order to deny them the title and they led at half time through a strike from Sophie Hancock. Emma Beynon made it two on the hour and Hancock completed her double with four minutes remaining, to round off a fine season for Ian Owen's side who were runners-up in both league and League Cup while winning the FAW Women's Cup.
Cwmbran Celtic ended their first season in the league with a resounding 7-1 victory over Aberystwyth Town, to finish up in seventh place. Fiona Anthony, Laura Bradley and Ella Meaney put them three goals ahead inside the opening half hour and after the break, Alana Murphy extended their lead. Ffiona Evans reduced the arrears for Aber midway through the second half before Bradley netted twice more for her hat-trick and Lauren Boyd also got on the scoresheet.
