Foxes complete great week
 Women's Football News 6 May 2015
Northern Division One
Leeds Ladies secured themselves a highly creditable third place finish when they defeated Tranmere Rovers 3-1 in their penultimate match of the season. All of the goals came ahead of half time, Shelbey Morris opening the scoring for Leeds on the half hour before they added further goals through Emma Bentley and Lauren Griffiths, before Lynn Carter replied for Tranmere.
Middlesbrough look to have taken a place in the top four following their 8-1 success away to Sheffield Utd Community. Bianca Owens kept up her prolific finish to the season with a four-goal haul and she was joined on the scoresheet by Sammie Leigh, Leanne Anderson, Anna Birtwhistle and Clare Helm.
Chester-le-Street kept themselves in with a chance of a top half finish by beating Morecambe 2-0. Hayley English and Nichole Harvey netted the goals for the Cestrians.
Midlands Division One
It has been a great week for Loughborough Foxes who were confirmed as Champions during the week and finished off a successful season with a 2-1 victory away to Leafield Athletic. Laura Steele and Vicky Brackenbury scored the goals for the title winning Foxes which gives them a lead of nine points whilst putting a dent in Leafield's hopes of taking the runners-up spot as they trail Leicester City Women and Radcliffe Olympic, each of the three teams having one match left to play.
Stephanie Speck bagged a hat-trick as FC Reedswood notched up one of their biggest victories of the season, 6-0 against Curzon Ashton. Kelly Williams, Jamie Duggan and Chloe Evans added the other goals for Reedswood who still have a mid-table position in their sights.
Steel City Wanderers' fight against relegation could well now be a successful one as they are out of the bottom two on goal difference after a solitary strike from Cheryl Mawhood earned them a vital 1-0 victory over Leicester City Ladies.
* No matches were played in South East Division One.
