Glasgow City and Hibernian will meet in the Final of the Scottish Women's Premier League Cup, in a repeat of last year's Final, after both teams recorded 4-0 victories in their respective semi finals.
The semi final day, at Ainslie Park, opened up with holders Glasgow City taking on Celtic and they booked their place with the help of three second half strikes. City took the lead ten minutes before half time through Hayley Lauder and just after the hour, Kerry Montgomery added a second. Leanne Ross increased the advantage with fifteen minutes remaining, before Nicky Docherty rounded off the win with a thunderous left foot strike.
In the second tie, between Hibernian and Aberdeen, the game was very tightly contested but it was Hibs who opened the scoring on the stroke of half time through Lucy Graham. It was Graham who doubled their lead after the break and Lizzie Arnot netted the third from the penalty spot. Joelle Murray added the final goal late on to crown a fine victory for her side.
The Final will be played at Ainslie Park on 3rd June.
