Eastern Region League Lowestoft Town completed the League and Cup 'double' with a 3-1 victory over Royston Town in the League Cup Final at Soham. Natasha Thomas netted two of the goals for Lowestoft with Paige Shorten adding the other, while Joanne Rutherford grabbed Royston's consolation. In the Premier Division, Acle Ladies made sure their escape from the bottom two was a successful one as they defeated Leverstock Green 4-2. Leonie Daulby, Luka Goodfield, Francesca Lambert and Imogen Williams were all on target for Acle, with Leverstock replying through Giselle Randall and Natasha Sherriff. AFC Sudbury claimed the runners-up spot in Division One North following their 2-0 victory over Bury Town, thanks to a goal in each half from Natalie Golding and Sophie Jeffery. West Billericay will finish in the top half of Division One South after Katy Judd, Aimee Pooley and Michelle Sumpter gave them a 3-2 win away to Hutton. Sawbridgeworth Town moved out of the bottom two by beating Offley & Stopsley 1-0 with a goal from Claire Poulton. London & South East League Carshalton Athletic need a victory in their last game of the season in order to secure the title after they battled out a 1-1 draw with leaders Old Actonians, who have completed their fixtures. Rosie Stone had given Actonians a first half lead but Laura Curtis equalised after the break to leave Carshalton one point behind in second place, ahead on goal difference from AFC Wimbledon who picked up four points from a double header with London Corinthians. The first meeting ended goalless, with the return going the way of the Dons, strikes from Bianca Walker and Zoe Clifford earning AFC Wimbledon a 2-0 victory. Division One (London) runners-up AFC Phoenix finished off their season by beating Colne Valley 4-1, Lydia Tobin netting twice along with Anna Badham and Marie Louis. Sarah Sinkins was on target for Battersea & Wandsworth in their 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur Development, who replied through Jennifer Simao, whilst Hemel Hempstead defeated Regents Park Rangers 6-1. Steph Cripps and Natasha McConville each bagged braces with Amy Carr and Leah Haley also getting on the scoresheet. North East League The top two in the Premier Division met each other in the Southern League Cup Final and this time it was Brighouse Town who were triumphant, denying Champions Hull City the 'double' by beating them 2-1. Emma Dobson and Claire Needham scored the goals for Brighouse, with Hull's consolation coming from Katie Thompson. Meanwhile in the Northern League Cup Final, Northern Division runners-up Blyth Town Lions ended their season with a trophy in their cabinet following a 3-0 victory over Gateshead Rutherford Ravens. Hannah Smith was on target twice for Blyth along with Rebecca Henry. The winners of the two competitions, Blyth Town Lions and Brighouse Town, will meet each other in the League Cup Final on Sunday 24th May at Wilberfoss Sports and Social, York. South West League Torquay Utd made sure of finishing in third place in the Premier Division with a 2-1 victory over Bridgwater Town. Natalie Warman and Louisa Stentiford-Crook were on target for Torquay, with Bridgwater replying through Georgia Coles. The final game in the Eastern Division was between the top two, with Poole Town taking on Champions Bishop's Lydeard, who completed a busy week having played in two cup finals. The match ended 1-1 with Chloe Newton netting for Poole and Dawna Dennett on the scoresheet for Lydeard. Western Division title winners Marine Academy Plymouth completed their successful season with a 3-3 draw against Charlestown. Sam Drewery netted twice and Olivia Ramsey the other for Marine, while Tori Marks hit a hat-trick in reply for Charlestown. Callington Town and Alphington also shared six goals, Kat Marment bagging all three for Callington while Alphington's markswomen were Kirsty Brown, with a brace, and Jana Richards. Newquay Celtic leapt above Launceston into sixth place by beating them 5-0, courtesy of a goal apiece from Janine Butterly, Jess Longworth, Annie Richards, Nicola Schmolke and Amelia Barrett. Southern Region League Fleetlands made it an impressive ending to the season, following their victory over Champions Maidenhead Utd seven days earlier by beating runners-up Oxford City 4-3. Anthea Kaplein, Michele Niven, Claire Haskett and Natalie Collier were all on the scoresheet for Fleetlands, with City replying through Kiera Isaac, Sarah Reid and Aliyah Anthony. West Midlands League Burton Albion are through to the Division One North League Cup Final after beating title winners Walsall 2-0 in their semi final. Amie Savva scored both goals for Burton who will be up against Lichfield Diamonds. Meanwhile the Premier Division fixtures for the season ended with third placed Crusaders completing their campaign with a 6-1 victory over Wrockwardine Wood. Lichfield Diamonds warmed up nicely for their forthcoming cup final with a 2-0 win against Shrewsbury Juniors, moving themselves to within one point of their opponents whilst staying level with Bilbrook, who defeated Wyrley Ladies 6-1. Lye Town continued to finish the season in top form in Division One South, winning 2-0 away to Wyre Forest Phoenix to further extend their advantage to fourteen points. Kenilworth Town edged out Rubery Ladies by the odd goal in seven to remain in third place, narrowly ahead of Coventry Development whose climb up the table carried on as they beat Redditch Utd 4-0. Malvern Town are out of the bottom three following their 2-0 victory over Marston Green.
