Long term servant to Portsmouth Ladies, Katie Poore has stepped down in her role as Assistant Manager of the first team.
Having initially been an extremely well respected player, Katie moved into a coaching capacity and eventually spent the remainder of her time acting as joint and then assistant manager of the first team in what has proven to be a very successful period for the club.
Many players have gone on to flourish under Kate's watchful eye and her transition from player to coach was seamless.
On stepping down, Katie told the club's website: "It saddens me to leave after twelve long years at the club, as a player, coach and manager. As a player I have many great memories, as a coach it has been rewarding to see so many young players break through and establish themselves and as a manager we've had two very successful seasons.
"I want to wish everyone at the club, the committee, coaching staff and players the very best of luck next season, you deserve to be playing in the Super League and hopefully will go on one step further this season.
"Finally I want to thank Dave Coyle for everything he has done for the club and for me personally, he is the heart and soul of this football club."
