Notts County have completed the signing of goalkeeper Siobhan Chamberlain on loan until the end of the season.
Chamberlain, who currently plays for Arsenal Ladies, has found herself second choice behind Irish international Emma Byrne for the Gunners, making one appearance this season.
The stopper was part of the England team which finished third in the FIFA Women's World Cup last week, the 31-year-old coming off the bench and keeping a clean sheet in the quarter final victory over hosts Canada.
After spells at Chelsea, Fulham, Birmingham and Vancouver Whitecaps in Canada, the 'keeper made a name for herself in the FA Women's Super League with Bristol Academy, where she spent three seasons. Following Bristol's highest ever finish of second place in 2013, in which Chamberlain kept seven clean sheets in the 20 games, the London-born player moved to Arsenal to stake her claim for the England number one spot.
The 5' 11" goalkeeper has joined the Lady Pies to cover fellow England international Carly Telford, who suffered a minor shoulder injury during the World Cup.
Manager Rick Passmoor said: "To be able to bring in a player of Siobhan's calibre at this stage of the season is a real boost for this football club. With such a short season in terms of the number of games played, every game is vitally important and although we've only lost Carly briefly, to bring in a suitable replacement was important and we'd like to thank Arsenal for their co-operation in making this happen."
