Women's Football News
England have moved up to fifth in the FIFA Women's World Rankings after the latest list was published today.
The Lionesses' achievement of finishing in third place in the World Cup has moved them into the world's top five for the first time, having displaced Sweden from that position.
The newly crowned World Champions, United States, have regained the number one position from Germany whilst France and Japan hold steady in the top four. Norway meanwhile are back in the top ten at the expense of Canada.
There was also great news for Scotland who are back in the world top twenty but Wales have slipped back to 37th and Northern Ireland remain 66th.
