C & K Basildon are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Cherie Rowlands from Women's Super League 2 side Watford Ladies.
Before joining Watford, Cherie played almost 150 times for Barnet, playing for them in their first season in the Women's Super League 2 under the new name of London Bees. Cherie also had a brief spell on loan at Arsenal in the Women's Super League 1, and played for Arsenal in their 2013 Champions League campaign.
Commenting on the move, C & K Basildon Managing Director Peter King said: "We are very pleased to have signed Cherie for our first season in the FA Women's Premier League Southern Division. Goalkeeper is a very difficult, but vital, position to fill, and we are delighted to have signed Cherie as she brings experience at the very highest level to our team."
The new FA Women's Premier League season kicks off on 16th August. C & K Basildon are seeking players for both their first team and their Development side. Contact Peter King on (07801) 975903 or email@example.com for further information.
