Watford 1 (Adamson 67)

Yeovil Town pepped up their promotion challenge in WSL 2 with a seven-goal blast which narrows the gap on second placed Reading FC Women to four points.
Yeovil took the lead from the penalty spot through Yorston in the seventh minute when Sarah Wiltshire was felled in the area by Nicola Pepper. The Glovers doubled their advantage on 19 minutes when a powerful drive from Annie Heatherson was parried by Golden Girls' keeper Trippoli Witney into the path of Helen Bleazard who comfortably slotted home.
Four minutes later, Yeovil extended their lead further when Wiltshire managed to get a final touch on a left footed cross from the right hand side from Bleazard to score against her former club. In the 32nd minute, the hosts increased their lead to four when Ellie Curson opened her account for the season with a spectacular strike from 25 yards.
Watford made a triple substitution at half time but the home side did not let up after the break and in the 57th minute, Yorston added a fifth for Yeovil when she volleyed home following good work from Sammy Quayle.
Substitute Sasha Adamson reduced Watford's deficit on 67 minutes with a close range effort but the Glovers restored their five-goal advantage in the 74th minute when Heatherson headed home a corner from Curson.
With three minutes left, Yeovil substitute Emily Donovan added a seventh with a powerful long range effort that Watford keeper Witney couldn't keep out, as they made it three wins out of three in all competitions.
