The FA and SSE announced that England Women's head coach Mark Sampson will present the trophy to the winning team at The SSE Women's FA Cup Final on Saturday 1st August.
Chelsea Ladies and Notts County Ladies go head to head at the Final (3.00pm kick off), which will be held at Wembley Stadium connected by EE for the first time in the history of the competition.
Sampson, who managed the Lionesses to a historic third place finish at the FIFA Women's World Cup 2015, has accepted the invitation from The FA and SSE to present the trophy to the winning captain from the Royal Box.
Kelly Simmons, FA football development and participation director, said: "Thanks to their historic World Cup campaign, Mark, his staff and the entire England team really made the country pay attention to women's football.
"It's fitting that he is presenting The SSE Women's FA Cup Trophy to the winning team on another landmark occasion for the game, when we host the Final at Wembley for the first time."
Alan Young, SSE Managing Director of Corporate Affairs said: "SSE's support for the women's game is driven by the aim of making a difference to the future of women's football and helping ensure women's potential is fulfilled in every walk of life.
"The Lionesses efforts at the World Cup captured the imagination of the nation and Mark's involvement in presenting the trophy at The SSE Women's FA Cup Final is a fitting tribute to that."
Tickets are still available for the Final, which is expected to attract a record competition crowd of 30,000, via www.thefa.com/tickets. The match will also be live on BBC One.
