Reading FC Women 3 (Roche 10, Ward 36, Bragg 84) London Bees 0
Reading moved up to second place in Group One in the Continental Tyres Cup after easing to victory at Farnborough.
The Royals took the lead after ten minutes of play when Lois Roche rifled a free kick into the top corner of the net. Amber Gaylor had a chance to level the scores for London Bees on 24 minutes but her shot was easily saved by Grace Moloney.
Ward then saw her 35th minute effort saved by Sophie Harris in the London Bees goal but the Welsh international striker made no mistake a minute later, heading in unmarked at the far post from a Roche corner.
On 66 minutes, Nia Jones had the ball in the back of the net for Reading, but her header was disallowed for offside while her left wing cross was palmed off the line by Sophie Harris on 82 minutes.
However Bianca Bragg stepped off the bench to grab the third goal for Reading in the 84th minute with her 20-yard effort flying into the top left corner.
