Birmingham made it three wins on the bounce in the Continental Tyres Cup, beating Yeovil Town 4-0 to boost their chances of a place in the last eight.
The Blues have struggled of late in FA WSL 1, but their fortunes could not be any different in the Continental Tyres Cup with three wins from their last three games and a whopping 14 goals to boot.
They beat Yeovil Town 4-0 on Wednesday evening, having stormed into a two-goal lead after just seven minutes thanks to Jo Potter and Coral Haines.
Charlie Wellings and Kirsty Linnett then completed the victory, netting either side of half time, while Yeovil were continually frustrated by the woodwork, hitting the frame of the goal on three occasions.
