Reading reach last eight
 Women's Football News 30 Aug 2015
Watford 1 (Donnelly 26) Reading FC Women 3 (Walkley 3, Bragg 9, Follis 49)
Reading's leading scorer Emma Follis struck her 13th goal of the season as the Royals booked their place in the quarter finals of the FA WSL Continental Tyres Cup with a 3-1 win at Watford.
Reading took the lead in just the third minute when Laura May Walkley got in front of Watford goalkeeper Deger Zekai to stab in Rebecca Jane's cross from close range.
The Royals doubled their lead after ten minutes when Bianca Bragg swept into the net after the hosts had failed to properly clear Lois Roche's corner.
But Watford were to halve the deficit when Stacie Donnelly took advantage of some hesitant defending from Grace Gillard's long throw to prod a shot past Grace Moloney.
The Golden Girls then missed a golden opportunity to draw level a minute into the second half when Harriett Scott was penalised for handball, only for Emily Heaslip to blaze her penalty over. Follis soon made her pay as she got on the end of Charlie Estcourt's through ball to restore her side's two-goal advantage but the visitors were to have Roche sent off late on for a second yellow card.
Watford: Deger Zekai, Nicole Pepper, Leighanne Robe, Mollie Burgess, Grace Gillard (sub Amber Tullett 45mins), Phoebe Read (sub Dawn Mallett 76mins), Emily Heaslip, Kim Farrow, Stacie Donnelly, Adekite Fatuga-Dada (sub Megan Wynne 62mins), Anneka Nuttall. Subs not used: Josie Green, Tricia Gould, Ellie Mason, Poppy Jones.
