![]() The teams are expected to be two of the main challengers for the title after finishing in the top three last season and Leanne told Women's Soccer Scene: "It was a very good team performance, we worked well as a team and pushed forward as one unit. We were all motivated to win the game, which gave us the determination to put in a good performance throughout the ninety minutes. Although two goals were scored against us, we did not drop our heads and continued to play good football. "Every win is important but winning against MK Dons is especially so, we want to show that we are a strong team and being able to beat our main rivals shows that we have the determination and willingness to to work hard as a team to beat them. Although they are a challenging side, we feel we are just as good as a team and are strong enough to beat anybody on our day." After going close to the title last season, 17-year-old Leanne insists that, overall the team is a stronger one this time around. "Yes, I believe that is true because we work well as a unit and are all physically strong for any team to play against," she said. "We work well together and communicate well, this leads to us working well on the pitch and helps us pass the ball quickly past our opponent." So who does Leanne think will be their main challengers for the title? "I think Gillingham and MK Dons are our main challengers," she replied. "I say that because Gills came down from the league above last season so they will be very strong, fit and have a point to prove after relegation. "MK Dons, because we know how strong they are from our battles last season, they cope very well under pressure and are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Both teams have great experience and motivation and it will make for a very interesting season ahead."
