London Bees 2 (Fraser 47, Bowers 75) Watford 3 (Mason 20, Nuttall 27, Pepper 58)
Three long range goals from Watford earned them a valuable 3-2 away victory and their first FA WSL Continental Tyres Cup win of the season.
London Bees found their way back into the game twice but could not prevent Watford from securing a win in what was a commanding display.
After an evenly matched start, Watford took the lead on 20 minutes when Ellie Mason turned and shot into the bottom corner. Watford doubled their lead seven minutes later when Anneka Nuttall sent a shot flying into the roof of the London Bees net.
It only took the Bees two minutes of the second half to find their way back into the game after a calm finish from Gemma Fraser. However Watford quickly restored their two-goal advantage when Nicole Pepper sent a right-footed effort curling into the top corner past the goalkeeper after 58 minutes.
London Bees' forward Kate Bowers finished from close range to pull one back with 15 minutes to go and set up a grandstand finish.
The home side then followed with a flurry of long shots but were unable to beat Shayla Burgess as the Watford defence held strong to secure a well earned victory.
