Stoke City have gone four points clear at the top of the table following their 4-1 victory away to Bradford City. Courtney Jones, Faye McCoy, Laura Garside and an own goal put Stoke on their way towards their fifth successive victory.
Sporting Club Albion are back up into second place after getting back to winning ways with a 5-1 success against Nuneaton Town. Leigh Dugmore was on target twice for Albion along with Abi Cottam, Trina Greaves and Hazzana Parnell.
Derby County had started the day in second but went down to their second defeat of the season, 1-0 at the hands of Huddersfield Town. Emily Heckler continued her superb season to date by scoring the only goal of the game, shortly before half time.
Nottingham Forest continue to work their way up the table and their 2-1 win away to Guiseley AFC Vixens has lifted them into fourth. Annabel McKechnie settled matters in Forest's favour as she netted both goals during the first half.
Newcastle Utd claimed their third victory in four matches when beating Loughborough Foxes 4-2. Dannika Purdham and Emma Hewitt gave Newcastle a two-goal lead at half time with Ellen Turnbull adding a further two after the break, Audrey Moore netting both in reply for the Foxes.
