The tie of the round in the Premier League Cup went the way of Brighton & Hove Albion, who were 3-1 extra time winners over Portsmouth.
After Ini Umotong had given Pompey a first half lead, Kate Natkiel struck after the break to level the scores and take the game into the extra period, where in-form striker Charlotte Gurr scored twice to take the Seagulls through to the First Round, where they will play away to Queen's Park Rangers.
Laura Bright scored a hat-trick, Becky Taylor added a brace and Emma Jenkins was also on the scoresheet as Cambridge Utd made sure they progressed with a 6-2 victory against Lowestoft Town. Cambridge will now play host to Chichester City.
Bradford City earned themselves a home tie with Leicester City WFC following a crushing victory over Norton & Stockton Ancients. Abbie McIver netted four times and Hannah Campbell a hat-trick, with the tally being completed by Olivia Thackray (2), Chantelle O'Hara (2), Rosie McDonnell (2), Danielle Whitham, Charlotte Stuart, Abigail Lee and an own goal.
In the only tie of the Premier League Plate Preliminary Round, Vicky Coope and Jennifer King scored the goals as Chorley won 2-1 against Tranmere Rovers to book themselves a home tie with Steel City Wanderers in the next round.
