Bradford City inflicted a first defeat of the season on Northern Division leaders Newcastle Utd, defeating them by the odd goal in five. Amanda Ellsworth hit a hat-trick for Bradford while Siobhan Jones netted twice in reply for the Lady Magpies whose lead has been trimmed to six points by Blackburn Rovers, 11-2 winners over Stockport County. Thea Mallett led the scoring with a hat-trick, Meghan Pope added a double and there was one apiece from Abby Bennett, Charlotte Healey, Georgia Lambe, Katie Maher, Katie Samuels and Ainsley Strickland. In contrast, the game between Hull City and Huddersfield Town finished goalless whilst Middlesbrough won for the first time, 3-2 at Leeds Ladies thanks to Jasmine Pearson (2) and Kelly-Marie Smith.
Stoke City are back on top of the Midland Division following their 3-0 victory over Derby County. Millie Elson scored twice and Coral O'Keefe the other to see Stoke head the table on goal difference from Nottingham Forest, who won 1-0 away to previous leaders Cardiff City Ladies with Georgia Gladwin netting the only goal of the game. Leicester City Women meanwhile scored eight times without reply against Loughborough Students, Rhyiannea Anderson and Alicia Schwerzerlbach each bagging hat-tricks with Mercedes White and Lauren Handley completing the tally.
Tottenham Hotspur have restored their five point lead in the Southern Division after winning their top of the table clash 3-0 against Charlton Athletic, goals coming from Ronnell Humes, Emily Masters and Dionne Manning. Portsmouth took the chance to move into second place by beating Chichester City 4-0. Nicole Keen was on target twice along with Rebecca Bell and Eilidh Currie. Hayley Bridge, Phoebe Leitch and Amy Sinden were the markswomen for Brighton & Hove Albion in their 3-0 victory away to Southampton Saints whilst Queen's Park Rangers defeated Crystal Palace 4-1, courtesy of a Kasha Petit hat-trick and Zemeka Clarke.
