Blackburn Rovers moved to within three points of Northern Division leaders Newcastle Utd with a 9-0 victory away to Middlesbrough. Thea Mallett and Alisha Johnson each hit a hat-trick and the tally was completed by Georgia Lambe, Abby Bennett and Natasha Fenton. Stockport County meanwhile defeated Hull City 4-0 thanks to Katherine Jones, Nicole Lees, Chaneece Reeves and Chloe Mapp.
Nottingham Forest are back on top of the Midland Division despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Sporting Khalsa. Georgia Gladwin and Rachel Wakefield were on target for Forest, with Khalsa replying through Tracey Haycock and Stephanie Speck. Rhyiannea Anderson (2) and Chantelle Robinson scored the goals as Leicester City Women won 3-1 away to Loughborough Students.
Tottenham Hotspur maintained their five point lead in the South Division after a five-goal haul from Ronnell Humes, plus a Dionne Manning hat-trick, Amy Cooper (2), Emily Masters, Leanne Mabey and Deanna Brunyee saw them to victory at Southampton Saints. Second placed Charlton Athletic defeated Crystal Palace 5-0 with goals from Victoria Campbell (2), Kylie Manktelow (2) and Ellie Baxter.
It was League Cup week in the FA WSL Development League and holders Birmingham City are out, beaten 5-3 by Sheffield FC for whom Jodie Michalska (2), Cara Fields, Chloe Dixon and Nikki Hogg all scored. Sunderland defeated Doncaster Rovers Belles 4-1 thanks to Madelaine Hill, Rachel Furness, Shannon Etherington and Danielle Brown. Evie Clarke, Charlotte Devlin and Chloe Kelly gave Arsenal a 3-1 success at Liverpool whilst an Anna Young goal gave Durham Women victory over Oxford Utd. Manchester City were 2-0 winners away to Aston Villa, Toni Duggan and Alethea Paul scoring. Bristol Academy defeated local rivals Yeovil Town 3-0 with goals from Brodie Olive, Paige Sawyer and Amie Norris, meanwhile Chelsea scored six without reply past London Bees with Rosella Ayane and Millie Farrow both hitting hat-tricks. Georgia Hayes and Zoe Cunningham were on target as Reading FC Women won 2-1 at Millwall Lionesses.
