Dutch midfielder Danielle van de Donk has signed for Arsenal.
Van de Donk joins the Gunners from Swedish club Goteborg FC, where she enjoyed a short spell during 2015. She has previously played for PSV Eindhoven, VVV-Venlo and Willem II in the Netherlands.
An experienced international, she has represented Holland on 42 occasions, playing in both the UEFA Women's Euros 2013 and the FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada this summer. She joins up with Netherlands team mates Sari van Veenendaal and Dominique Janssen at Arsenal.
Gunners manager Pedro Martinez Losa said: "We are very pleased to welcome Danielle to the club. She is a strong technical player, who will add skill and an excellent range of passing to our midfield. I look forward to working with her as we begin preparations for the 2016 season."
Meanwhile it has been announced that Arsenal forward Chioma Ubogagu has been released from the club, having reached the end of her contract.
Ubogagu, 23, made 21 appearances in her one season with the Gunners, scoring seven times. She signed off her Gunners career in style this month, netting in injury time to complete a 3-0 victory over Notts County in the Continental Cup Final.
