Stoke City reached the quarter finals of the Premier League Cup after coming through a dramatic tie with a 3-2 victory over Bradford City.
In a tale of three penalties, Faye McCoy slotted home two spot kicks for Stoke whose goalkeeper Natalie Hall saved one at the other end and Natasha Lilly headed in the other goal to help take Stoke through.
Nottingham Forest emerged as 3-0 winners from a tough game away to Northern Division One high fliers Hull City. Andi Bell kept up her excellent form with a goal in each half and Moriah McIntosh wrapped up the win with the third goal, seven minutes from time.
All of the scheduled ties in the Premier League Plate were postponed.
