Brighton & Hove Albion extended their lead at the top of the Southern Division to six points after they defeated Plymouth Argyle 3-0.
Charlotte Gurr gave Brighton the lead four minutes before half time, but it wasn't until late on that the points were finally secured, thanks to two injury time goals from Lisa Fulgence on her return from a long term knee injury.
Portsmouth closed in on a top three place by beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-2. Ini Umotong, Lucy Quinn and Sarah Kempson scored the goals which leave Pompey nine points off the pace, but with two games in hand.
C & K Basildon consolidated themselves in mid-table with a 3-1 victory over Forest Green Rovers, who remain in the bottom two. Lily Mellors, Hannah Porter and Zoe Rushen were all on target for the Essex side, with Rovers' second half consolation coming from Lisa Coe.
Queen's Park Rangers meanwhile picked up an important 2-1 win against West Ham Utd, which puts a gap of three points between themselves and the bottom two places. Danielle Puddefoot gave Rangers a sixteenth minute lead which was doubled early in the second half by Sophie Fogarty and although Romina Pinna renewed hopes for the Hammers when she pulled a goal back, Jo Wilson sewed up three valuable points with a close range header, seven minutes from time.
