Super Bay knock Tranmere out
 Women's Football News 14 Dec 2015
Whitley Bay became the third Regional League club to knock out Premier League opponents in the SSE Women's FA Cup First Round when they defeated Tranmere Rovers 3-2.
Steph Ord, Ella Stevenson and Lucy Watson scored the goals to take the North East League Premier Division side, who have a good record in the cup in recent seasons, through to the Second Round and a plum home tie against FAWPL Northern Division high fliers Stoke City.
Morecambe booked themselves a trip to Nottingham Forest by winning a thrilling tie 5-3 against Chester-le-Street after extra time. Hannah Paling was on target twice for the Lancashire side along with Jo Norris, Emma Kay and Laura Ivinson.
The Second Round line up was completed by Chichester City who ran out 6-0 winners over Keynsham Town in their delayed tie. Jenna Fowlie netted two of Chi's goals and there was one apiece from Emma Alexandre, Kally Ambler, Shannon Albuery and Jade Widdows (see match report).
