It is now a perfect dozen for Leicester City Women whose charge has taken them fourteen points clear after beating Leafield Athletic 5-1. Holly Morgan, Lauren Bartle, Becky Knight, Chantelle Robinson and Helen Busby all netted a goal apiece for the leaders, with Jade Hewitt replying.
Wolverhampton Wanderers joined a trio of clubs heading the chasing pack following their 3-2 win against Rotherham Utd. Lianna Pargin headed Rotherham into an early lead which was cancelled out before the break by Amber Quick and Harriet James then put Wolves in front for the first time. Natalie Shaw levelled matters once again midway through the second half but Quick scored her second goal to give Wolves a win which lifts them into third place.
Solihull Ladies are in fourth after they went down to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Loughborough Students, Ria Melvin scoring the only goal of the game to cement her side's position in the top half of the table.
Leicester City Ladies meanwhile picked up an important 2-1 win against Peterborough Northern Star, which takes them into a mid-table position, Carmalina Colangelo scoring both of their goals.
South East Division One
Crystal Palace are now six points clear after running out 10-1 winners over Bedford Ladies and stretching their unbeaten start to eleven games. Abi Igbavboa and Gemma Bryan each bagged hat-tricks and Nicha Dyett added a brace, with Roschelle Shakes and Pamela McRoberts also getting on the scoresheet.
Milton Keynes Dons moved back into second place following their 4-0 success away to Norwich City. Sophie Watson, Heather McDonnell, Charley Wright and Andy Dickens all scored a goal apiece for the Dons.
South West Division One
Exeter City narrowed the gap on leaders Larkhall Athletic to four points by beating Southampton Saints 3-0. Vicky Barter opened the scoring for the Devon side in the second minute and they went on to secure the points thanks to a goal in each half from Helen Kukor.
Maidenhead Utd moved back into mid-table with a 1-0 victory away to St Nicholas, who were beaten by the odd goal for the fourth match in succession. A tightly contested match was settled when Alex Dover scored the only goal of the game for the Berkshire side on the hour mark.
